Botanical: Hydrangea querciflora Description: A distinctive new oakleaf with bright golden-yellow foliage. A branch sport to the dwarf selection ‘Pee Wee’. The foliage emerges gold and then changes to a pleasing chartreuse as the season progresses. Large white summer flowers. A nice native plant for semi-shady sites. Brilliant red autumn foliage. Great for mixed borders. Prefers moist, fertile, well-drained soils. May need some winter protection in the North, especially as a young plant. Prune to shape after flowering.
