Botanical: Hibiscus syriacus Description: A robust hybrid with slightly ruffled white flowers with a prominent red eye. Bold, dark green foliage. This is a hybrid with larger flowers than most Rose of Sharon. Great for mixed borders. Deer resistant. Adaptable to most well drained soils. Prune to shape in late winter/early spring. Fertilize with a controlled release fertilizer in spring. May need additional liquid fertilizer in summer. Grows 8-10 feet high and 10-12 feet wide.
