Botanical: Pennisetum alopecuroides 'Little Honey' Description: A sport of Little Bunny and very similar. Little Honey has the same extremely dwarf growth habit, only 6 to 12 inches high. Glossy variegated foliage is green and white and forms into tidy mounds. Creamy white spiky flowers first appear in late summer, displayed just above the foliage, and then age to a honey gold. Little Honey is ideal for containers, rock gardens, fronting borders, massed plantings, and the blooms are beautiful in bouquets. We ship well-rooted plants in quart containers, ready to grow and thrive in your garden. Medium growth rate. Growing tips: Grasses are easy to grow, and adapts to most conditions.
