Often called the “Queen of Spring,” Peonies (Paeonia lactiflora) make a majestic splash in the spring garden. Exquisitely large, ruffled blooms are carried on strong stems, making them ideal for long-lasting cut flower arrangements. Our bush peonies adapt well to most soil conditions and will bloom freely in mid- to late spring. They thrive in partial shade, producing extravant flowers that fill the garden with eye-catching color and delicate fragrance. Plant them en masse, or as accents among other late spring flowers like iris, astilbe and perennial geraniums. Deer resistant.

This special collection includes:

1 Red Peony: Dark and dramatic, this is one of our favorites for producing masses of ruffled red blooms in the late spring garden. It grows to a height of three feet, with attractive foliage all summer.

1 White Peony: Large, frilly flowers of pristine white provide a beautiful contrast to the glossy foliage of this hardy mounding plant. Luxurious in the garden, and just as delightful in arrangements.

1  Peony “Coral Charm”:  This is the gold standard for warm-colored peonies. Large, loosely cupped blooms fall open to reveal a center of bright golden stamens. Exquisite in cut flower bouquets.
