Its deep green leaves are ruffled along the edges in a unique fashion. The flowers combine a rose red and light pink on the outer petals with a bit of green at the base. Interiors are white with yellow centers. Great for rock gardens, window boxes, planters, 6 to 9 inches tall. Early spring. Like most Kaufmanniana tulips, the bulbs naturalize readily and multiply rapidly.
