Description: Fritillaria Acmopetala is native to Asia Minor and coveted by collectors of rare bulbs. Brownish purple and green flowers are produced 2 to 3 per stem on 16 inch stems. Flowers are inverted and bell-shaped with flared rims. A terrific choice for rock gardens, fronts of borders, or natural woodland settings. It has been a popular fritillaria since the mid-1800s and when you grow it in your garden, you’ll see why. Heirloom.
