Botanical Name: Muscari aucheri
Description: Muscari Paradoxum has been a spring-garden mainstay since the late 1800s.  Dense flower heads, vibrant deep blue color, sturdy 7- to 8-inch stalks are the qualities that have made it a favorite.  The bulbs naturalize effortlessly.  Bloom time is April/May when many tulips, daffs, and hyacinths are in bloom which makes Paradoxum well-suited for mixed bulb beds.  It is easy to grow in planters for portable spring color to take indoors.
