Botanical Name: Colchicum autumnale Description: The fall-blooming bulb, often referred to as “fall crocus.” The foliage comes up in the spring and resembles hostas. The blooms present in the fall and are crocus-like though larger. You can grow the bulbs indoors on a windowsill, enjoy the flowers, and then afterward plant them in the garden.
