Description: A true show stopper, this variety originated in the Orient and was introduced to the West in 1860.  Sweet Autumn is an unusually fast-growing clematis, attaining 20 feet in the first season!  It's also later-blooming than most, but come September it puts on a spectacular display with clouds of vanilla-scented creamy-white blossoms.  Silvery seed heads extend its beauty into October.  Grow in full sun.  Often used to cover fences.
