Botanical Name: Calochortus luteus
Description: Golden Orb, often called Mariposa Lilies, will be a favorite in your spring garden.  Big, bowl-shaped blooms are a brilliant canary yellow with a speckling of brown in the centers.  It flowers in late spring/early summer on 12" to 14" stems.  Plants die back and go dormant in summer, then pop back up the next spring.  Excellent for cutting.  They can also be potted and grown in an indoor sunroom.
