Botanical Name: Rosa 'Ausverse'
Description: We believe this to be one of the best crimson/purple roses that David Austin has bred so far.  It has large, cupped, full-petalled flowers of rich, dark crimson colouring; eventually turning to a most pleasing shade of rich purple.  The growth is strong, bushy and rather upright.  There is a powerful Old Rose fragrance.  If you want to grow this roses as a shrub it may benefit from summer pruning.  4 ft. x 3.5 ft. as a shrub or 6-8 ft. climber.
