Botanical Name: Fritillaria Imperialis
Description: A fritillaria with a surprising twist!  Deep plum-purple, bell-shaped blooms are carried on tall 2 to 3 foot spikes.  Narrow leaves are whorled or twisted which gives the plant a distinctive look.  Blooms in mid-spring, adding casual charm and a novel touch to the back of a border planted with tulips and daffodils.
