Botanical Name: Ixia Description: Ixia Spotlight produces beautiful star-shaped yellow flowers with maroon tips amid sword-like leaves on long 12- to 18-inch stems. Several blooms are positioned along the top portion of the stem, and resemble tulips at first, then open into star-shaped flowers. Ixias, also known as African Lilies, bloom late spring into early summer, and are suited for beds, borders, containers, perennial gardens. They are also excellent cut flowers, lasting 2 or more weeks in the vase. Give them a sunny location and fertile, well-drained soil. We ship premium 4/5 cm. bulbs.
