Botanical Name: Hippeastrum Height: 14 inches tall Description: Fully double flowering. Very full effect as the flowers have a triple number of petals, with 1-2 stems per bulb and 5 to 8 blooms per stem.
I gave these for Christmas and got raves...I kept two and was AWE-STRUCK! Give these a strong pot and stake them, because they put out HUGE triple-petaled blooms and lots of them. Don't be afraid because they're not red: most people have never had an all-white amaryllis before and are just delighted to see something different. My mother is 88 and had amaryllis every Christmas since a child. She said these were the most impressive she's ever had.

This is my favorite amaryllis. "Mimi" is a bit of a misnomer. Each bulb yields multiple stalks in succession, with perfect triple-petalled blooms. Huge "wow" factor from every one I give away. The show goes on for weeks and never fails to amaze and impress. Highly recommended!
